Dear Friends of TRSF:

 

I last wrote to you at the end of 2019 letting you know that after three wonderful seasons of bringing FREE Shakespeare and inclusive, accessible theatre to the Toms River community and beyond, that we would not be able to sustain under our current model. I had, consequently, decided to postpone our 2020 Summer Season in order to determine how best to serve our mission, vision and audiences moving forward. Shortly thereafter, we were in the midst of a global pandemic. 

 

I am updating you now to let you know that due to COVID-19 safety concerns for our patrons, artists and staff, I am postponing the festival indefinitely, until further notice. 

 

Thank you, as always, for your generosity and support and for continuing to support the arts in Toms River and elsewhere at this time. I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. I deeply miss being able to create and share our work with you, and hold out hope for brighter days ahead!
